a limited edition soft furnishing cushion.

Inspired by the large scale installation through the Gevangenpoort, The Hague, Netherlands from the 22nd September to the 13th October 2022, the cushion is a limited edition artwork that you can display on your finest sofa. As the larger installations work with their environment - squeezing out from confined spaces, I wanted to create something that continues that feel. These cushion artworks work with your furniture, and nestle in the corners.

Handmade from cotton velvet with the forms filled with fibres made from 100% recycled drinks bottles. For hygiene reasons the cushions are supplied as covers and just require a standard 40cm (16”) square cushion pad of your own chosen quality.

Each cushion comes with a 10” x 8” (25cm x 20cm) archival quality photograph of the original installation.
